Needed SRR for Charlie's Angels pose. Francis kept trying to do the David Schwimmer dance from the Friends intro.

Why was Tony Mc Quay on the relay he DNF at USA'S in the finals? Who makes the selections?

Remember when NBC had a hissy fit that Carl Lewis wasn't on 1996 Olympic 400 relay team for final. USAT&F just rectified that.

1. Why was SRR even on the squad?

2. Did SRR run the prelim......I assume so.

3. Why not have SRR run the prelim & Phyllis Francis run the final?

4. Isn't this setting a helluva bad precedent?

Sanya Richards Ross has given back so much to the school, Vaz Prep, where she learned how to sprint. Many may not know that, but she always come baring gifts, $, computers, whatever and the kids and staff love her to no end. As much as the Jamaican fans go at her there is a certain level of respect or her. Her dad is somewhat of a footballing legend in Jamaica, so the roots run deep.

Redwine might be a good dude but his recent success comes from his assistant coaches and recruiting help from former director.

Sanya Richards Ross is a Stephanie Hightower soldier. She challenged IAAF VP Bob Hersh in favor of Hightower. Ross was rewarded for her slavery to Hightower.

I'm just glad that the networks are starting to get interest in this to bring this sport down.

Could the TV network have input in things like this? Shoe company? I know they shouldn't, but when SRR was competing NBC did one feel-good segment after another and followed her every move. Before you think such things are not possible don't forget that relay coach Russ Rodgers ('88 I think) was determining the 4 X 100 team based on who would let him represent them in Europe. Of course he was the relay coach but nothing much surprises me with the corruption of the sport.

She was given the lead over a 33 year old Jamaican whose best 400 was run 9 years ago - and still lost!
