However in sports where leftiness provides no real advantage, like golf, tennis or rugby (maybe), the numbers are more representative.
Lefties have huge advantage in tennis. They get to serve from their more "natural" side on the ad court, while the deuce court is a more natural side for righties. And most break points (0-40, 30-40, 40-A) are played from the ad court. (15-40 is the only BP played from the deuce court.) The same for the game points (40-0, 40-30, A-40). So they get to serve better on more important points.
On top of that, most players are not used to the spins of lefties' strokes, because most of their opponents are righties.
On the other hand, lefties have disadvantage in golf, because most golf courses are designed by righties (and for righties).
Rhonda Rousey is a lefty. And Rhonda is the toughest chick in the world.
Actually many great fighters were left handed.

Soccer?
No
I would like to see data that lefties are over-represented.

100% sure about polo and as far as I know Jai Alai
Thanks 'turtle. Polo was the answer as I was told so I repeated it here as added info. Now I see Jai Aĺai (saw it only once in CT years àgo, couldn't figure out the wagering) is also correct. I did review rules for arm wresting but no where did read a rule stipulating right hand only. Sorry for the poorly constructed trivia
