Willis is one of the most humble, classiest guys in the sport. Have met him several times, and he has always been kind and welcoming. He has participated in many local events around Ann Arbor, and makes time for his fans. I've never seen any disparaging or classless quotes from him, and he is well respected on the circuit. Class act and fantastic competitor.

My guess is he thought he intentionally tripped Chepseba. That is not how I read it at all. It looks like he fought hard for position to make sure he was boxing, rather than getting boxed. If he did something wrong he would have been DQ'd. But LetsRunners will take things way out of proportion to match their own narrative.

1) I am not a Nike hater. Frankly I really couldn't possibly care less about Nike, NOP, Rupp, Salazar or Centro one way or the other.
2) It is true that Willis "laid down this idea about 'associating with questionable agents". This was acknowledged. Further, Centro's response was recognized for what it was - a good rhetorical line by Centro but without any real substance.
You appear to be one who is impressed by cute rhetoric completely lacking in substance as your reference to "bitch-slapped" makes clear. Most adults are not as easily impressed.
Watch the video of Willis after he broke 3:30. He is the freaking man and an inspiration. You'd have to have no pulse to dislike the guy.

As a recovering addict myself I'm just curious how one person gets another hooked on cocaine ? Was this man held down against his will and forced to use cocaine for weeks until addicted ? Nobody get another person hooked.

Centro's juvenile and cavalier approach to this entire matter is only helping cement public opinion against the NOPers. And in the face of evidence that one can deduce a great many things from, it almost acts as if to confirm the suspicions of the broader American public.

The article speaks about Salazar and Rupp, Centro can well be clean, and I think he is the kind of guy who is a genuine racer. His times are not outstanding and that makes sense for someone who is CLEAN.
About NOP and the rest, yes this is disgusting news about something many thought to be a role, but in the end, how many more can say they are clean? Why to not question everyone else? Why don't those journalist go to Kenya dig some shit up? General sense is so dumb and human thing.
