I propose LR officially embrace Maggie as its focal American woman runner. She has more personality and charisma than the cookie -cutter flocks of sponsored women. Say NOP-E to them.

Have there ever been suspicions of her doing PEDs? She looks a bit like some of the East German women of the 1980s with the muscularity.

Do you have ANY friends?

Maggie was a 200/400 meter star in high school. She still holds the 9th fastest 400 meter time in Central Coast Section history (54.60).

I saw her run in high school and she was extremely fit as a 16-18 year old.

People 'like you' post unflattering pictures of her in the type of lighting that would make Jessica Alba look average and then turn around and accuse her of being too muscular.

Pictures exaggerate the muscles of many female sprinters, half milers and steeple chasers. I've seen pictures of Emma Coburn where she looks like she's 100% muscle and others where she just looks fit.

Pictures are deceiving. I saw Shalane Flanagan warming up before the Stanford Invite (or Payton invite?) a few years ago and she looked tiny. I've seen pictures of her in races where she appeared large (running in a pack of East Africans)

Honest question: Would Maggie be quicker if she wasn't so loaded with muscle? Would she be better with her current body at 400 / 600? I don't follow her much, but because she is hot, not sponsored, and has cool fashion I always root for her and hope for the best. Where did she go to school? I'm sure she's ran the 1500 / mile in the past year, what was her time?

No 1500's as far as I know. I think she pr'd @ 400 last year.

A note to maggiekoch....words are powerful, as I'm sure all your friends can tell you. Casual accusations can be damaging. An example: If a teacher is cleared of all child abuse charges (say even the child admits to lying) once the accusation has been made people will always view him (or her) with some suspicion.

She's gorgeous.C'est une belle derriere.. Makes Kim K.'s can and Iggy Azellaya's fat arse look like tubs of cottage cheese. She should get a clothing contract with Lululemon or UnderArmor for her wonderful designs.
