Why only him been busted after he left Aden's group early 2013, remember aden coached kaki, Sulieman, makhloufi, Ismail Ahmed , G debaba and others they all top athletes . That's outdated, Driouch hasn't been in that group in a couple years. David Torrence is now coached by Abdi Bile.

Pity that Manzano didn't get his gold. If you think makhloufi is clean, then you've lost the plot.
As a side note, I saw Driouch working out in Barcelona the week before his world jr title. I've been around elite athletics for almost 30 years now, and I was betting money on him being the next in line of all time North African greats: aouita to Morceli to el gerrouj. Doped or not, the kid was really amazing to watch.

sad news in the sense that this kid looked like the second coming with that 3:50 at 18 or 19, looking that age, as well as a fast 1k, and in the 3:50 he was out pushing the pace ahead on lap 3. but then he fell off track entirely until this unspecified doping violation. in that picture with farah, he has virtually identical form. of course, in track if it looks unbelievable drugs are probably in the picture.
He popped on the scene when he was 16, and we all thought he was going to be something. When do you think he started doping? It's crazy how early some of these athletes get on the sauce. Some of those Turkish women started young too. I remember hearing about Driouch's last races and that he was under-performing because of an alleged blood disorder. Kind of reminds me of Mo Farah in reverse. Farah used to be in last lap contention then fade off the pace in big races--now he's untouchable. Driouch's last races before the ban were basically him doing the same as a younger Farah--dying badly. Still remember when Driouch went out in the rounds after a stumble and Mahkloufi was giving him a pep talk. I'm sorry, I don't trust any of these guys...
he was busted while training with under Elg's old coach, he was not training with Aden the last two years.
