Didn't know people actually ran Old Flowers. Seems like a long ways to drive just for a run. Try going up White Pine from the other side, that would be fun, er, hard.

I thought you were in Oklahoma?
I thought Culpepper stopped running Mags well before he had Chicago in his sights.

Magnolia road is totally overrated! I trained there 20 years ago when the old school CU guys from the 70s showed it to me. It's very dusty, horribly uneven and not very scenic (the starts not bad). There are A LOT of better runs, but Magnolia is popular because it is close to town. If you want scenery, nice trails and less traffic you could go to Switzerland or maybe down to White Ranch.
U don't know shit.
I ran there just last week on sunday morning. It was beautiful and sunny. Just the scenery alone is the most inspirational thing I can think of. Being surrounded by mountains at more than 8,000 feet above sea level while pouring my heart out on that long and hilly road is the best experience I as a runner have ever had on a two hour run.
I heard some donkey from the east coast passed out on mags this summer.
Who was that?
just curious... anybody on here ever run Woody Mountain Road in Flagstaff, AZ?
Who runs Mags for the scenery, penguin?
I don't give a popcorn fart if you're Richard Q. Nixon.
Nah, seriously, did you really run for CU? Who are you?

Moved to Oregon a month ago.
This is so much better than Boulder last summer.
Visited mags in november just for a drive and it was inspirational, will be back another day to take the challenge!

The folks in Boulder don't miss you, Colleen.
gunnison has much tougher runs then Magnolia
Back during the summer when I ran there I was inspired to no end... It was tough as hell going out but coming in you felt like you were flying. Many great runners of the past have ran there... for a reason. Surrounded by mountain peeks and going strong at 8,000 ft altitude is bliss for the long distance runner.
I had no idea Kanye West posted on letsrun!!

"peaks"
surrounded by mountain peaks? Where, you can't see any mountain peaks.
It's a f***ing dirt road, big deal.
Heck, the Mesa Trail is more scenic, alittle less altitiude, but more scenic.
