I run. I also drive. I've been on both sides. As conscientiously as I drive, I have still encountered situations where runners or cyclists have snuck up on me. And as carefully as I run, I have also been in situations where I've almost been hit by a vehicle. Either way, it makes for an adrenaline moment.

Unless the principal has expressed his side of the story, no, im not joking. We only have the view from the OP. Is there a link posted that I missed with another vantage point? Or are you too dumb to know what that implies?

Definitely do not do anything and try just to forget about it. I assume you run for the team? Just keep a low profile. You did nothing wrong, and the driver DID do something wrong by running a stop sign. As long as you did not damage his vehicle, no harm done.

Don't worry about it. He can't do anything to you over this.

I must be dumb because I think what you are implying is:

"I've only heard one side of the story so that's the side I'll buy."

In fact, that's not what your implying it's what you're saying.

Think about it...you believe everything you hear? You are a salesman's dream. Do you know what critical thinking is? Do you even know what THINKING is? And you accuse me of being dumb?

Most drivers will give you a look of "Sorry I didn't hit you - thanks for invading my life"

I have close calls all the time - running or walking. Drivers don't give a shit. You are dead meat to them. My dad's first lesson to me was "expect every car to hit you" as you go for a run. It's saved my life numerous times.

I find it amazing that anyone would run in front of a car that is stopped or approaching a stop sign.

The world is full of incompetent, brain-dead people. Why would you assume the driver of the car you're about to put your body in front of is not one of the idiots? They're everywhere.
