Not quite. You don't blackmail someone with that kind of stuff unless you are reasonably sure that you have at least some evidence that would make the other person sweat. Otherwise it would just be a meaningless threat because both you and the other person would know 100% you had nothing to be bluffing with, in which case the person you are blackmailing would never pay out.
Rita paid out because she knew she had some dirt that needed hiding. Her husband may have been motivated by personal feelings of vengeance, but he isn't a fool. Now the PAAK will teach young Kenyans how to hide and not get caught!
But now it's clear Rita is a doper the only misssing link is the role of Rosa Associate. Hopefully Rita gets some guts to expose these cheats. It's a well known fact in Kenya that dr rosa has long history trying to get advantage for his athletes whethe through illegal or not. Talk to any retired athletes from his group and the story is the same some phony referral to the Italian Doctor. Some take down these crooks

Her estranged husband, and his lawyer. I doubt his lawyer would put his career on the line to make false allegations. Presumably the estranged husband actually has some evidence and the lawyer has seen it.
He wouldn't be putting his career on the line. No legal action was taken. It was in the context of a divorce proceeding. Hearsay evidence is used all the time. Noah (and the lawyer) wanted Rita's money. When has a lawyer ever let ethics get in the way of their pursuit of money?

These days, a simple accusation of doping is enough to ruin an athlete's career, especially when it comes to sponsors, meet and race invites, etc., whether the blackmail was based on facts or lies,
