Tell her so - just say you're pretty laid-back and aren't into the dinner and candlelight thing, and just want to hang out doing whatever. Go to a food truck or something for a bite to eat then play it by ear. For random example, ytou might pass a video-game arcade and say you haven't done that in years, wanna give it a go? Have fun racing against each other for like 20min, give her some sh*t if you win, you get the deal. Then move on. Grab ice-cream. Stop and watch a street performer.
All being well you'll end up in a park having a chat with some sharing sweets in a bag you bought from a convenience store.
Doesn't get more 'very casual' than that and there's no pressure. It doesn't become a formal, quasi-interview situation, and shows you can be fun and spontaneous.

Have you played the Walking Dead, I've played it on my PC, my phone and my tab but it's way better on a Playstation, I mean it's like night and day, you know, it's like when Lee and Clem have to walk across the street through the zombies in volume 1 episode 5 it's so much cooler on a PS4.

Anything outside and active if that's something she is into! Hike, renting a canoe/kayak, go carting. Coffee is also not a terrible first date.

To OP, my advice is golden. Don't be some skinny FA reading conversation points off a cue card in a mid-price Italian sit-down. Just meet up and walk around, do fun stuff.
Who talks about PC games vs phone games on a date? Just lol.
Rock climbing for the logistics reasons mentioned has downsides. But there have been psychological studies showing that the adrenaline from scary thrill activities like that get projected/transferee (huge positive ) onto the other partner incidentally present. Win for you.
Coffee is great cause also the high from the drink gets projected into you (ideally) and fuels fruitful conversation. If you can time it right to get the girl to drink coffee when she's had a small tolerance break (too l0ng and she'll get psychotically high), her coffee high with you will be conspicuous and one to remember, as opposed to forgetable working day coffee breaks with negative connotations. Doing an activity that encourages natural flow of thoughts and health (moving outdoors) and that encourages communication, body language and light touching is a plus, too. Anyways, many Macks admit to do coffee on first dates
Anything that involves heavy physical activity for a first date is beyond stupid. Leaves a person exposed when they are trying to make a first impression. They won't give a crap how fast you climbed the wall if she/he is worried about smelling, sweating, makeup, hair, clothes, etc.
Grab some food(not a huge meal) at a cafe, get a drink to go and walk in a well-lighted open area like a park or a downtown for further conversation. No wooded trails or back alleys. It doesn't require of set time like a play or 18 holes of mini golf. If things get awkward or strange, it's easy to end it. If things are going well, sit down at a bench, walk some more or go get some ice cream. Both people are in control the entire time.

What is so bad about exposing a person on a first date? You will learn about that part of them eventually. Why not early on?
