Taxation is theft, but I wouldn't expect any of the letsrun statists to understand how. You'd have more success explaining calculus to a two year old.
Then I am guessing you have been having trouble with calculus. Taxation is not theft. You idiots need to stop reading Ayn Rand, she was a rich elitist writing novels to make herself feel better. You wouldn't even have the things you do without the infrastructure of the society around you. If you don't like society then get out as we have taken/stolen our territory for those willing to follow our rules. Maybe a crumbling West African nation would be more suitable for you.
All of this said, our politicians are thieves. Our government spends way too much of our tax money on things that society does not need and often only benefit a few.
Personally I would like to see education (while simultaneously eliminating the federal education department) and border security spending go way up, military spending come way down, entitlement spending come down a bit, infrastructure spending go up, and all subsidies eliminated. There are other things, but that would be a good start.
Back to the point, in a society taxation is not theft. Theft is a construct of society and since you are part of it society has deemed you the thief if you don't pitch in and contribute your share that is based on what you have acquired from society. The tax rules do suck, the rich and the poor pay too little in tax, they may be veiwed as thieves, but we haven't yet deemed them so.
