My roommate created a fake hot girl profile on OKCupid. The response was ridiculous.

I once posted a picture of myself working out in our box. Because it was hot as f*** and the AC wasn't working I took my shirt off. Anyway, took a selfie and posted it on OKCupid. Got a ridiculous amount of messages from chicks. However, all superficial, mostly interested in my appearance and money. Hook up with a few and then took the picture down.

Well, it is probably true that men in relationships are also pursuing other partners on these types of sites but that may not account for all of the discrepancy.

It is probably also true that single men are more focused and proactive in finding another romantic partner then single women. Single women because of a whole host of reasons having to do w both biology and socilization, may be more content to be single and not proactively search for a romantic relationship.

I think it's much more likely that single women just get barraged on these websites and/or have an extra creepy date or two. Women I know who've quit online dating have told me as much.

Also a factor. Pretty much every woman I dated from an online site told me stories of guys e-mailing them dik piks.

It took less than an hour to create the profile. My roommate and I simply wanted to understand online dating from the perspective of an attractive girl. It has been eye opening. If anything, we have more respect for girls that sign up for these sites and a better understanding of their online behavior.

Don't worry, buddy, I am fine with my life.

But my roommate is kinda a jerk, so he does enjoy turning down all these women.

vert true guys. I used to use okcupid and I would say as much as 95% guys tried to impressed me with d pics. no idea why people like to explore themselves this creepy way so I deleted the app.
