At this point, I wish I would be teaching something I am interested in. I now really hate working with most people and find my job is a total grind. I am miserable with it. Yet my amount of debt is monstrous compared to my income.I am not one of these people that can just adjust someone and send them on their way. I do rehab, Graston and ART, and my visits take longer so my income is inherently limited by this. I also don't want people coming back monthly like a lot of chiropractors do. I could teach now, but at a chiropractic school. At this point it doesn't interest me much anymore. I have a Masters in Ex. Phys but teaching options are very limited there. I could teach A&P at local technical colleges or community colleges, but the perks aren't there compared to having a university job, and you are usually paid as a contractor at a lower rate with no benefits.Oh well....

Trust me when I tell you that you made the correct choice. Job prospects for PhD in Ex Phys are slim to none.
With your chiropractic degree, you can at least make some money. In the mean time, you can study exercise physiology, make yourself known to the local athlete population(s), and build up a clientele that allows you to actually work with athletes. Trust me again when I tell you that the likelihood of a PhD in Ex Phys working with athletes is slim to none.
