As a fan who wants to see Roesler continue to succeed, I would say Gags would certainly be a better choice than Rose Monday--but that seems quite unlikely at this point.
I would also say that Rose's lack of success with Vessey is especially troubling in this instance because Vessey, like Roesler, is more of your true "speed type" 800m runner. Much of Vessey's success this year has come from getting back to that high speed type training, which apparently she was not getting enough of under Monday, and it showed.

She posted a pic with Centro on Instagram with a hashtag along the lines of #MyMan or something so they're together. I pick her over Kosinksi but it's a close one.
Also, I live in San Antonio so I plan be Mr. StealYoGirl from Centro.
Centro actually dated Roesler before Kosinksi. Then dumped Roesler for Kosinski, and now the roles have reversed.
So this is the 2nd time Roesler and Centro have been together...

Maggie ran a 1:57 with Greg Brock.
Left Greg to train with Rose and ran like crap.
Then Maggie was coach by Johnny Gray and got injured.
Now she is back with Greg Brock and running well again.
It's disappointing to see Laura go to Rose.
