    Good point, if Shelby's fastest E.T. based on USTAF standards was the 800, why didn't she run it at PAC 12 and NCAA. It may have been a coaching decision for maximizing point scoring at the PAC 12 meet. 800 is a difficult race to double because of the event scheduling and recovery time between events. She probably chose the 1500 at NCAA, because of winning the PAC 12 and probably determined she had the best chance to win the 1500 title. Roessler has established herself as the top collegiate 800 meter runner and Shelby would of had to run her best race to beat her. Well, we get to watch them race today. Good stuff.....Go Shelby.....Go Devil's.

    Phenomenal run by Roesler 1:59:04.....Well done....Shelby got her PR 2:01:12. Great race with top 3 under 2 minutes. Congrats to Shelby for a great 2014 season for A.S.U. Track and Field. Was fun to cheer on the Maroon and Gold in the U.S. Finals.

    This chick Houlihan looks like a slightly less roided out version of that Polish or Check broad who holds the world record at 800m.

    I'm very impressed by Houlihan's progress from her freshman year until now. I think her potential is with the 1500. I like her running mechanics, and I think it bodes well for her future development.

    Her mechanics and her racing tactics in the PAC 12's and NCAA's is what impressed me. Especially against Cuffe in the PAC 12 5000. That was an impressive show of strength because Cuffe threw the hammer down on the last 4 laps and Shelby hung with her and won the race. I agree that the 1500 is where her potential lies and hope she breaks 4:10 this summer.

    Well, I was the only one to call Wilson/Roesler correctly; B Mart let me down...girl needs to take a break.

    Roesler is in 1:58-mid shape or better. What a year for her.
