She was really close to the line on the head-on shot before they switched to the finish line camera so most likely she stepped on the line in the first 100m. Unless they are DQ'ing her for her slight cutoff of Martinez at about 470m but I can't imagine that would be enough.
Her coach just tweeted they won't allow him to see why she was DQ'd. But, he was told she stepped on the line....which correct me if I'm wrong, you can take up to 2 steps on the inside as long as it's not three. And I watched the video again in slow mo and didn't even see her cross once...... If only she was a Salazar athlete
Why won't they just show him the footage if they have proof? Then it would be over with and everybody could move on. Then it doesn't have to turn into the fiasco that happened indoors.

In USATF one single step on or over the line is grounds for disqualification.
Thanks for that, it seems weird that only one step (which could even be a stumble) is grounds for a DQ. Hopefully they can show the footage.

I've been thinking about the announcing myself a lot.
At world indoors, it was eye opening that they don't introduce everyone. Just the big stars. It was interesting to see who they picked.
In the NBA, the only introduce the starters. I think a) track should do the same in the US. Only introduce the big names or b) at a minimum get excited about what's important.
It drives me nuts how everyone gets the same amount of excitement and every two sentence description is said with the same emotion.
Let's say Rupp was racing Wejo.
For wejo, they'd say "5th in the Ivy League while at Yale" with the same amount of emphasis as "American record holder at 26:44" for Rupp.
It's absurd. Pump up the NCAA champ, the US champs, the stars. Don't act like every two sentences are the same.
The women's steeple is looking good this year. Franek, Praught, Garcia, and Bush all look fit. Not Coburn status but still encouraging.
