Brazil look shaky. They won't win the World Cup. Spain and Holland will be a cracking game tomorrow. Spain win 2-0 and dominate the game.

The last World Cup on South American soil was won by the host nation because of some blatantly corrupt refereeing. We're off to an ominous start...

Mexico goal disallowed. Very tight call, not sure myself.
Another goal disallowed, bad call by the linesman. Mexico should be 2 up.
This is scandalous refereeing. The first one is such a tight call you can understand that they get it wrong. But there's no excuse for the second one. FIFA needs to stop this affirmative action of including referees from countries with sh\itty domestic leagues. Their refs are not up to the task, period.

I agree completely. The first I can forgive because it was a tight call and could go either way, but the second was a clear goal. That sideline ref seems to be either an amateur or simply has been bought. Mexico is getting hosed in this one by the refs. They should be up 2-0 or minimum 1-0. Inexcusable for World Cup Refereeing
Goooooaaaaallllll!!!!!! Peralta scores, Mexico up 1-0. Well deserved.
Refereeing at this level is not "random" and "erratic".
It is corrupted, bought and paid for. You cannot fathom how much money is on rigged prop bets in the Asian markets.

Good result from the CONCACAF teams. It was probably 3 points more than expected the four teams would get.
Not a shock if the tally stayed at 3 though.
Well deserved victory for Mexico. Nice start for the CONCACAF teams. Let's hope the other 3 come out strong.

Why fix it for Cameroon to win?
