That was a pretty impressive finish in the 200, especially considering the calibre of the field.
as much as I'd like to see Kilty break 10 I think it's just as likely that he never does... there have been more than a few great 60m guys who could never break out of the 10.1-10.2 range (6.48 white dude Nagel has a 10.11 PB), and conversely subpar 60m guys (think Lemaitre and Gay) who are at their best once they get going with their stride.
Kilty hasn't yet shown that he can match his start & acceleration phase with his maintenance/finish (20.34 200m PB). If Kilty ever breaks 10 legally, he will do so barely and with a +2.0w. Hopefully he can prove me wrong.
With all the talk about the new british sprinting, so far the past 5 years only one 'new sprinter' beat 'old sprinter' Dwain in their nationals. I suspect that, given the fact that Deasolu isn't fit (once again)...Dwain will claim victory (once again).
Too much pressure from media, UK athletics and public over there...and these guys just can't cope.

Speed endurance is just as important in running fast 100m times as it is in longer races. It all comes down to training, and a desire to improve. If Kilty has this desire he will break 10 no problem.
the only thing reviving british sprinting
is IGF-1 LR3.
Exact same as every other sprinting powerhouse
of past while , starting to dope like them. inevitably
Of the 3 training groups both as dirty as each other
dwain's been on the igf ,at the very least ,since
got back from his supposed traing camp in carribean
back in 2008 or so.
his age makes it beyond obvious for me.
AS FOR Kilty see how he peaks for the summer ,
agreed falls in category of more of a better 60m guy
but many other 100m runners fall into this category also.
and have just dipped under 10.
IGF-1 LR3 ,
what would a modern day sprinter be without it .
a proper revival will only happen if they start to
really dope like jamicans or some seleact american athletes

As a Brit, this is what worries me about any resurgence in performances.
May sound negative but running sub 9.90 and being clean are not things that happen very often.
