5K is soft.
5K - 15:42
marathon - 2:31:30
5000m 15:25
marathon 2:37
The 5000m hurt a hell of a lot more than the marathon did. Weird. Guess I could have run faster.
I'm 22, my 5k pr is 14:30, I'm going to run my first marathon next year, no clue what I will run, hopefully in 2:20's
14:47 (1990)
2:24:31 (1998)
5K 15:48
10K 32:28
Marathon 2:32:36

10k. 30:20
Marathon 2:22:08
5K (road): 16:49
marathon : 2:54
Yes, I am underdeveloped in the aerobic sense! Would say I was in equally good shape for both efforts.
5K: 16:08

5k: 15:02

...I walked the last 800 of the marathon because I couldn't run straight. Ended up fainting at the end. I told myself I would never run the marathon again. The next year I was at the starting line. Didn't pass-out, but threw up at the end. Told myself never again. The next year I ran it again, but threw up when I got home. So, its getting better.
Here are mine; hoping to decrease them both soon:
15:33
2:33:07
14:43
2:24:49
17:10 3:00:18
14:10 Track (I only ran 6 or so 5K's on the track and almost no road 5k's)
13:20's 5K split in a road 15k (downhill section)
2:09:57 marathon
5K 17:20
26.2 3:20 (sucks!)

I would say I have the slowest 5K time of any Marathoners at my level, bar none.

Chad, You have been beat. I knew that the Hansons guys have run some decent marathons without any type of track credentials. Now get to work.

Dang it. Does this mean I have to up my 5K PR by one second or my Marathon by two minutes and 5 seconds? I remember reading about Carl Rundell a while back. He had an equivalent Marathon PR to mine until late last year, I believe. I was shocked to see him be able to run those workouts those guys do.
