Completely agree. Jenny is one of the better interviews in all of American distance running and is generally very emotional (happy or disappointed). Often times I find interviews stink because the person interviewing the athlete asks horrible questions (like asking how a race went - dull!).

What do you consider "emotion?" Simpson's smiling and laughing through almost every one of her interviews. She obviously enjoys her sport and her success. Isn't that "emotion?"

No one said that Shannon R. did not show emotion although she is quite sedate and blah in comparison to Jenny B. Simpson.
Jenny was a standout way back at CU not only for her ability on the track but also the way she expressed herself in her Flo track interviews.

Boy Jenny really has turnover in the last 200. It would be interesting if Coburn trained as a 1500 runner. I think she would make USA teams. She is already one of the top 5 or top 10 1500 / milers. Maybe she will leave the Steeple soon? I hope not because someone from the US needs to be on the world stage in that event.
