I have to say, there is some serious question about this Makhloufi cat. Wasn't there a high profile american elite that mentioned something about Leo getting bumped up to gold at some point, insinuating that american athletes felt he was dirty and would get caught sooner or later?
It would NOT be a wise choice for NOP to take on this cat with the speculation that already surrounds them. I think it would be the dumbest move they could make, and I would start to become suspicious.

In text messages and an interview, Drummond said he learned of Gibson from Hooker and discussed him with Gay, but "did not recommend that Tyson enter a relationship with him."
Drummond vehemently denied being aware of any creams that Gay was using that might contain banned substances.
People with knowledge of USADA's investigation said the agency has been told that Drummond had carried the cream for Gay during a training camp in Monaco prior to the 2012 Olympics.

This is common knowledge now. Drummond is still Chairman of the AAC with no disciplinary action filed as far as I know.

Asbel was made because he himself had to fake injury when his coaches warned him that he wouldn't be able to pass the post-race drug test if he nabbed a medal. Hence his listless performance. Pot calling the kettle black.

Seriously though, if I had to bet my next pay check on two high profile male distance runners (meaning medal contenders) being dirty over the past 5 years I think Sergio Sanchez and Makhloufi would be my bets. Sure there may be others, but I'm going with what I think the safest bets are.

If this clown ever runs another world class time or performs well at a big event I would sh$t myself. He was even more obviously doped than our old friend Rashid Ramzi - what happened in London was disgusting and sad for the sport - just as it was in Beijing...

Why does he need a new coach? These are world-class athletes - can't they coach themselves? Are these people so ill-informed about training methodology and how their own bodies respond to training that they can't design a program for themselves? They aren't ignorant HS or College athletes (the latter being on scholarship means they have to follow their coach's program, even if that person is an idiot).
Having a Manager to get you into races is one thing - that is a time-consuming task that has nothing to do with training. Coaches are not entirely necessary, unless one believes that you can only progress because of your training group - connected to a coach - another myth of the weak-minded.
