Why can't people go out in 3rd? Going out in last place for the first half works in college, but not at the international level, especially on an indoor track.
If it was too fast for Willis, it was WAY too fast for Will.
Going out in last is fine, but with 2 - 3 laps to go, you must move up - especially in a slower race. In a slower race, the kicks are faster, so it becomes impossible to catch a guy who is running a 25 second last 200m when you are 2 seconds behind. To win, he would have had to run a 23.
On the positive side, it's safe to go to Walmart.
