Ummm, those with no power or have no privilege use protest as a means to protest (need I give you an example?) in hope to get attention or get results they think they deserve; those with power/privilege go it the Al Sal/Nike way.

I don't normally use this word because it is overused, but that would be EPIC.

I think GG clipped Hasay and that could have been avoided easily. I think the race would have ended the same way. And I don't think she should have been DQd. However, It was OK of AS to protest initially. From what I read, it sounds like he went too far in pursuing it.

As for today, It's a protest. It would have been much more effective if they could have all stepped off and let NOP run alone but that is a big sacrifice.

The protest they made was good. Nike may weigh in as some review of this incident goes on.
