It would be odd of Rupp started taking thyroid meds and then stopped. It would cause you to feel pretty crappy.
You don't file a TUE to take thyroid meds if you need them. Once you start, it would be really tough to stop taking them without crashing.

What happened to all of Rupp's medical issues: asthma, thyroid, necessary black mask, breathe right strips, and much, more? Are no questions allowed to be asked about the medical breakthroughs that erased all of Rupp's issues? The breakthroughs should be public record to let, at the very least, asthma sufferers lead healthy lives.
Its honestly ridiculous how Virgin is accusing fellow track athletes when the sport NEEDS to get on par with the other major sports in how the public perceives steroid abuse. People turn a blind eye to any form of doping in the NFL (which I think is way worse than track and cycling).
I would love to see the day a big name NBA player tests positive from a blood doping test in a major competition (2016 Olympics perhaps?)

I've seen nothing that suggests he isn't taking thyroid medication have you? Have you seen something that says he never uses an inhaler anymore? The breathe right strips are only nominally related to a medical condition. The mask, and a lot of the breathing issues, are related to seasonal allergies which, if you're not aware, are not an issue in January.
Basically, your post is a bunch of blabbering that is supposed to imply something, but when you boil it down doesn't really say anything.

Breathe-right was an endorsement deal.
Thyroid does not require a TUE, but you know this already.
There are a lot of allergy/asthma medications you can take without a TUE.

I think you're missing my point. Your original post implied/claimed that Rupp has had all these medical issues erased. You then went on to mention asthma, issues related to seasonal allergies, and thyroid medication. It is a known fact that he was on thyroid medicine. You imply somehow that issue has been "erased". What I'm asking is how do you know it has been erased? Unless you know it has been erased, how can you make a claim that some amazing medical breakthroughs have erased the issue? When you're claiming something that is contrary to a known fact, it's not my job to prove the previously known fact (Rupp is on thyroid medication). You made a claim to imply something fishy that Rupp has had all these medical issues erased, with absolutely no knowledge that any of them have been erased.

Do you think thyroid medications or asthma medicines require a TUE?
A few asthma medications do. Not all.

I don't think that anyone is saying that legally he has to disclose this information. People are saying that if they are doing nothing wrong, Rupp and the others in NOP should disclose to "prove their innocence" and stop the questions.
I am not saying I agree, just stating that because everyone is calling for voluntary disclosure, HIPAA is not really relevant.
In addition, I am not sure that HIPAA would apply anyway because the privacy aspect of HIPAA is generally regarding guarding a patient's medical records held by covered entities (generally medical related). I don't think that a list of supplements falls under Protected Health Information without more

I am not naive. I have no idea if Rupp is taking something illegal or not. It wouldn't shock me if he was but I haven't seen any evidence. If he is taking something that is legal, well then it is legal. I just think this particular line of "questioning?" is stupid.
People are saying they want NOP to disclose any TUEs they are on. Well, what if they aren't on any? Ricky Simms says they are not (limited exceptions). Apparently nobody believes him but lets say he is telling the truth. Then there are no records they can release to prove he is telling the truth (because not taking something doesn't leave a record).
It appears people have a lot of problems with the TUE system, with supplements, and with medications that don't require a TUE. Those issues are not issues with NOP specifically as all the athletes have the same set of rules.

A lot of the critics cannot be pleased and shift arguments/theories as needed to confirm their beliefs. I don't know if they are on anything illegal, but I'm at a loss as to 1) why they should publicly disclose every supplement they take and 2) how releasing the info some are requesting is going to convince anyone.
If they are on something illegal it isn't going to be disclosed anyway. If they aren't doing something how can that be definitely documented? If they are doing something legal, besides their training, that is given them an edge why should they disclose that to everyone else? Only a small portion of the "guilty of doping/something illegal" crowd is going to change their mind if TUE info and all supplements are released, so why do it?
The "no TUE" thing cracks me up. Marion, Regina, Lance, Bernard, Justin and all of the uncaught EPO cheats of the 90s didn't have TUEs, either.
The gullibility/stupidity of the general public on this issue never ceases to amaze me.
