Bashir was spot on until he said the poo in mouth punishment should be applied to Palin. Comparing the national debt to slavery is just shameful and indefensible. The worst outcome for the deficit/debt issue is higher taxes and cuts in government services/benefits. If you want to see an example of what that looks like, go to California. They beat back a huge budget deficit/debt problem with a combination of higher taxes and cuts to government. Yet, California still leads the country in attracting venture capital and has a very high cost of living because everyone wants to live in California. So, Californians are living in slavery?

once again you flaunt your staggering stupidity for all to see, oblivious...
There is nothing better than when YOU call others stupid (!). You're like the 500lb sumo wrestler calling 150lb people fat.
Precious Roy wrote: Are you so stupid that you can't see far worse outcomes than simply higher taxes & spending cuts? Criminy! How do you make it through life? What happens when the markets meltdown, people get nervous & go their bank to make a withdrawal & are unable to do so?
You mean like what almost happened (and would have happened if it weren't for the, egads!...bailout) after many years of republican rule and the Bush near depression/financial meltdown hit? You mean kinda like that? Yeah, elect more republican and sure, it might happen again! But it's not happening now or in the near future (unless you elect more right wingers who can cut regulations on the banks). But, please, don't let the get in the way of your preparations for the end of civilization and anarchy in this country. By all means, stock up you bunker with canned foods and guns!

At least your utter stupidity is entertaining!
Again, you calling others stupid is what's entertaining to anyone with a brain. CA, as PR pointed out, has one of the highest costs of living in the country. An area does not have a high cost of living if no one wants to live there. Even you, the economic genius that you are, can get that, right? And where are the low cost of living states? You guessed it: red states (middle of the country and most of the south). I know, I know, the only reason east bumf-ck GA (where you grew up?) doesn't have a high cost of living is because people are too stupid to see it's wonderful charms and culture. If people were just smarter, they'd all flock there, right? Yup, keep living in your fantasy world.
