I am surprised he ran USATF, only a couple of weeks ago his fitness appeared well below competing. He will be ok, I hope he takes some time away from competing and figure things out.

Solomon just jogged a 1:46. That looked easy. Maybe Symmonds is banking on saving a little more in his prelims/semis.
Did all 7 in the last heat of the 800 make it? That is smart running by them if true. You don't always see that out of a last heat but they can thank Solomon for that.
Solomon's a guy like Jock that HAS to take it out hard. If they hold back and try to kick they seem to not be able to run fast. I think Solomon knows he can dominate everyone but Symmonds and so he can get away with it.
