Everyone knows Coach D is a bona fide moron. If the market continues to drop he'll sadly think he's smart. If the market rebounds next week, he'll disappear until it drops again.

Did he nail it? Is 1 day the end all now? Some of you out there are so ignorant on financial matters it's insane. If the market rebounds to a new high in a few weeks will he still be right? Well, since he and I do things differently, that's odd.

Also, I don't make "moves". It's pretty easy to see how I've done. I put money in automatically twice a month and I do so no matter what. I switch funds around once in a great while and put in extra once in a great while, but I don't play games with the market by chasing tops and bottoms. The result is very good returns since I began investing. You can do it too.

The difference is Flagpole is an honest and relatively decent person. Coach D is a known jerk, and anyone on these boards can predict that the market will have a drop or a rise after a rise or a drop. I mean how many times has that happened in the history of the stock market? It's knowing when, and i happen to know for a fact that Coach D is not doing so well. So don't be envious of him.

Not at all. If that were true, then suddenly in the past two days speculators felt nearly all companies had sh6t future potential.

Ok, if this quote is accurate, how did Coach d sell his stock futures on 6/4/2013....

but claim on page 1 of this thread to have written on 5/31 that he's out of the S&P, and "only long the US Dollar now":

For the record, I think stocks are topping, or close to topping, and gold is bottoming, or close to bottoming.

I just see a lot of after-the-fact claims by this dude, and haven't seen (m)any real-time updates on his miraculous, better-than-Goldman trades.

Funny how people bashed those bashing Coach D, why does anyone give Coach D any credit? His running posts are rubbish, why would anything else be any better?

Coach d, a big time Division 1 coach and highly respected by all, is a real piece of work. I suspect he is being honest in that he bought $10 of SP500 futures on June 22, 2009 and sold them for nearly $20 on June 4, 2013. Of course after paying his trading fees and celebrating his big profits over a 12 oz Miller High Life, he's back to $10 again. One things for sure, the guy sure impresses me with his wisdom and savvy. What a guy!!

Of course Coach d is a jerk (meaning liar). He said in his earlier post that as of May 31, 2013 he was out of the market. Now he tells us that he got out on June 4, 2013. He is either confused or a liar...I suspect the latter.
