Overwhelming pressure from herself and her country's fans & media. From what I have heard from others, EPO is old-hat in the field of doping. They've developed a good test for it, so Radcliffe would be stupid to take it.

She has withdrawn with minor injuries, colds, and other minor reasons when just prior to a showdown with Ethiopians and others (when they are running hot) only to reappear healthy a few weeks later. Miraculous!
All you say is true. She has trained and performed brilliantly many times. My point, is when she has trained just 'average' she has bailed on European showdowns & even the Paris WC, only to be fine a few weeks later.
