Funny, I was running 4:43 at 43 as well ( a little faster at 45 :). Difference is... in my 20's I was running....4:43.
Granted, the athletes he coaches are a wee bit faster than mine....

I would like to see weight class as a consideration for mile times as well as age. I wonder what the 300+ lb mile WR is... I'm sure this has been discussed somewhere before but I'm not online much.

Schu ran a low 31 10k about 4-5 years ago at some road race paced by Solinsky and Teg. He's totally capable of 4:43 easily.
