-I don't yet have flotrack pro because it costs too much money for me since I'm a highschool student, but I do plan on talking my parents into getting it for me. Flotrack Pro seems really cool because we get to see what the best in the world are doing in more detail than we can from free videos, and with the increasing coverage of live races that'll be good too. I think its good for the sport, and if I have to pay a little more than what I would be comfortable with(i.e. $5 a month) so as to better help promote our sport and help fund better coverages that can provide better training insight as well as even more inspirational workouts and interviews and such, then I say it's worth the extra money.

For real. I wouldn't expect the owner of a lemonade stand to be this unprofessional, let alone the CEO of the SOLE MEDIA OUTLET (for the most part) for track and field!

When I saw his video, I was thinking "wow, this dude needs to chill" and I'm just a hobby jogger observer...
I think you are all mistaking that the 20$ is for all the flotrack pro videos and material and not just the two meets. A little expensive for a single month, but the one year for 150$ ($12.50/month) doesn't seem too steep. The only problem with that is that track/cross have some gaps in the season. I am curious about what all the extra content is like.
Mark - I don't understand your missive whining about whether Weldon Johnson will debate you. A debate of any kind is irrelevant. You are in a business. If what you offer is of sufficient value for the price, then you may succeed (I am not sure the market has enough participants for you to succeed, but that is a reality you must face). Work on delivering value, watching your expenses, and gaining and developing a brand. I have watched your broadcasts and have enjoyed them to some extent, but your programming really suffers from not having top notch announcers who work hard to discern the identity of the athletes in the top races and who have a capacity to entertain by virtue of relating their own experiences or stories. I understand that finding and retaining these kinds of talents is both expensive and challenging, especially in a marginal sport like track and field (I don't think you will have Steve Cram walking through your door soon). Take heed, and hope you develop business acumen as you try to make your offering work. (By the way, the market in this sport will not sustain a $20 month charge for the quality of programming you are providing).
I would really love to subscribe to flotrack pro but I just don't think that I can afford to spend $20 a month. I would definetly subscribe if it was more reasonable(5-10 a month)
I like Flotrack and give less than a damn about the Hatfields and McCoys, but Flotrack gums up and slows down my computer.
Is it just my shitty computer or can anyone else never get flotrack videos to load?

If mark from flotrack was smart, he would have come on this site and tried to nicely explain that he needs some money and apologize if anybody was upset. Who knows, maybe he would have made some friends and actually gotten some customers. Instead he calls out the owner of this site. Come on now
No explanation to the lurkers here on LR for the high price, just picking a fight? Not a good way to increase your viewership, me thinks. Would love to hear your reasoning on the $20/meet thing.

There are three things that are certain.
1.) The coverage flotrack does with race videos and training videos is great and they should be commended for what they do for the sport.
2.) Their pricing of Flotrack Pro is not optimal at the moment.
3.)Too many poeple are whining about this.
