What they are is the Borg generation. They are no longer in the real world, they exist in the hive mind of cell phones, facebook and twitter. They were assimilated. They didn't even try to resist.
I challenge anyone born after 1986 to go an entire week without using a mobile computer device. You can't do it. You'd die. It's your Borg regeneration unit.
I'm 22, and I do not have a cell phone, ipod, or any kind of computer device that I carry around. I just have a laptop that stays at home and don't have facebook or twatter. Haven't had a cell phone or any sort of mobile computer device since I was 18...still here...the entitlement generation is that of the baby boomers. My generation went and volunteered to fight two wars, one of which was completely unnecessary. We are also the generation that will be paying for the older generations huuuuge debt and financial hell hole we are now in...But yea I suppose that sounds like we are pretty entitled.
"The children now love luxury; they have bad manners, contempt for authority; they show disrespect for elders and love chatter in place of exercise. Children are now tyrants, not the servants of their households. They no longer rise when elders enter the room. They contradict their parents, chatter before company, gobble up dainties at the table, cross their legs, and tyrannize their teachers."
This quote was attributed to Socrates by Plato thousands of years ago. Quit whining about the "entitlement generation," because every older generation for the entire history of time has done the exact same thing and the world hasn't ended. I'm sure in fifty years all of the current teenagers will complain about the high school kids.
So you were born in 1990 or so? You definitely are in the Entitlement Generation.

That would be the baby boomers bud. So, no, I was born a few years later
If you want the entitlement generation, look at the so-called 'Greatest Generation'. They are the ones insisting their meidcare and social security can NOT be touched despite the fact it is clear that in 30 or 40 years they will collapse under their own weight. They clamor that they have paid into it so they deserve to get back out despite the fact that almost every single person that draws from social security draws more than they put in.
They dont care that the younger people will have to pay to support them and then get screwed over. They want what is theirs, now, and who gives a damn about the future, because they wont be around for it.

You were Borg. You were assimilated. You must have been captured and de-Borg'ed like Seven of Nine.
Entitlement is irrelevant. Killing foreigners in wars is irrelevant. All that matters is which generation is Borg.
Your generation is still Borg and will try to re-assimilate you.
I don't get it. What is "Borg"?
A Borg is a member of a race of sexless drones who live inside a mobile computer device
