I would not worry about Solinsky's confidence. He knows what he's doing.

49:00 great reporting average run. He should be doing xc not messing his legs up even more on the roads
exactly. i saw his legs in person. way too fcked up. he needs to stay on soft surfaces and do shorter distance work. he's killing himself with these 10 mile runs.

And you absolutely know that because?

Good show by Webb. Solinsky gets a pass, although it's good to know he must be putting in miles. What's up with Abdi?
You have a number of correct options here, my arrogant buddy, and you chose none of them. You could have written, "Solinsky gets a pass, and it's good to know he must be putting in miles." Or perhaps you could have written, "Solinsky gets a pass; it's good to know he must be putting in miles."
It's easy to put together a coherent thought with the English language. Do so in the future.

Still proud of my husband for his first 10 miler today.. 28th after walking a minute the last 2 miles (thanks freezing weather after months of extreme heat). Split 38:19 at 8 miles. Excited for the next one!
'It's easy to put together a coherent thought with the English language'
using the English language
Look now I am twat like you
Hey chucklehead, either way is acceptable.
Webb was running very relaxed and calm in the group behind Mo until he had what appeared to be breathing issues, which can caused by cold air. If that didn't occur you would have seen his name in the top five overall. Very good race for him.
So he bonked in a 10 miler and walked like a hobby jogger marathoner? Eeek.
Seb Coe used to do 10 mile training runs in under 50 minutes
Was this a sit n kick race?! I could beat that in my sleep
"EXTREME HEAT"
Craig Curley is a Native American dude that runs in Tucson, AZ. I can't believe he beat Abdi. They've had a rivalry in T-town for awhile and finally Curley gave Abdi his piece of the pie.
Two NYC runners who work regular jobs beat Alan Webb.
Indeed--the weather in the DC/Fairfax, VA area was dreadfully hot this summer.

Why didn't you enter the race if this would have been a cake walk for you?
El Guerrouj ran 10 miles in training every week in 50 minutes, at altitude.

When I opened this thread, I was impressed by ALL the "blue" number highlighted words in your long paragraph. Just saying.
