How do you know his speed ability is 51.2 for the 400 ??
You just throw out numbers whitout any justification.

Where in the world did you get those 400 times? Let me just say that you are way off.
4 mile warmup for a 8-13 mile jog? no.
you're missing the point.

eh ???
he had sub-48 speed when he was a 3'26'er
he's now 3'32 if lucky
his speed has all gone
where is the 51.5 speed he blew kennster away with in '06 in '12 ( also 3'29 in '06 ) ???
if he had had that still, he'd have blown away likes of mo/etc with a likely 50-flat in a mid-13 race
even hicham's coach said only about 48
http://www.letsrun.com/forum/flat_read.php?board=1&id=1373258&thread=1373258Hicham said 49-50 seconds for 400m and 1:45 for 800m. I then asked his coach the same questions-he said he has run 48 for 400m and 1:44 high for 800m in training. He said he would do 4X800m at 1:48 each with 3min rest between them in training. He said he thought he could probably run 1:43 low at 800
reread my post. 2*2 miles wamup+cooldown on hard days.
not unreasonable.
Also completely unsubstantiated - you have no reason to believe he's not counting warmups.

he's obviously counting warmups. Otherwise the training schedule he posted adds up to like 45 mpw.
he said on twitter that he counts anything equal to 3 miles or longer
