I think she may have gone into this year thinking she was the top dog when, in reality, she wasn't even the top American. She won in a weak year in a weak race. Just like Centro did with his bronze. However, Centro didn't let the medal get to his head and he's had many great performances since then.
Jenny's medal blinded her to how many women in the world are better than her.

Interesting, because I would have actually said the opposite: I think it's her endurance/strength that is lacking. In some of her races this year, particularly her two Olympic 1500 rounds, she was struggling to keep up with the pace prior to the final lap sprint. When's the last time she put together any kind of decent race at a distance over 1500 meters? It's been nothing but sub-par 3,000s and 5,000 ever since she left Wetmore.

Bekele DNF'd Worlds last year.
