The man can still coach.
The man can still coach.
Seagrave was our NFL speed coach. He is good as he got our Atlanta falcons to the Super Bowl.
"there isnt a snowball's chance"...that Loren will return to the NCAA. He has been there and done that. He has a family (that he can actually spend time with now) he has a thriving business in Velocity Sports, and what is the best he can do? Win an NCAA title? He has 5 of those.
However, you are correct...he would do a sensational job if he cared to.
Seagrave was part of the Atlanta Falcaons super bowl team as their speed coach in 1998. THE BEST
Billy would make agreat Santa Claus?
No Coach Pat Henry claims 3 of those 5 NCAA titles and he only gives Seagrave credit for two in (1987) berfore he arrived in tiger land.
He will make Joe Dean (Former AD) proud once again when hired!
Pat Henry also claims he discovered fire and invented the wheel. The truth will always win out.
I know this thread has been dead for quite some time, but I was curious as to why Seagrave was fired from LSU in the first place. Anyone know?
is he back at LSU now?

No, no. Dennis Shaver is now the head coach: a tremendously successful coach throughout his career.
Loren was dismissed because he was deemed "overly familiar" with one or more of his students. (No, no sexual relations.) It was basically a put-up job to get him out of there, in my opinion, so he'd stop stealing the glory from the then head coach.
