Is anyone else losing respect for Leo Manzano running around with the Mexican flag??

In case you didn't notice, Manzano participated in the opening ceremony wearing U.S. garb and competed in all three rounds wearing U.S. singlet. If indeed he ran a victory lap with the Mexican flag I think that's great. Are you so insecure that such a show of pride in one's native country upsets you? This is the Olympics, not WWIII.

The last time I checked the confederate flag is not the American flag,yet I see whites flying it all over.I doubt you object to it.If whites can fly the confederate flag,

IDK, I guess I've always thought of America as having its own unique identity. Sure, we all come from somewhere else, but once we're here, we're all Americans first.

Personally, I don't particularly care for any athlete wrapping himself in any flag after an event, but I recognize that mine is clearly a minority view. So, I'm in no position to criticize Manzano for his doing so with a Mexican flag as well as with a U.S. one. To each his own.

Please, please just stop talking if you have a problem with him carrying a Mexican flag. It is completely his right to show some love for where he came from, especially with the American flag draped over his shoulders as well.

Anybody who has a problem with this is really just selfish and small-minded, and theres not anything else to say about it.

Why do u guys hate on Mexico so damn much? You love our food. You love our women, everywhere I look I see white dudes married to Mexican women. I don't have any problems with that. You also love everything we,build, pick,ship and pack. Americans seems to love to vacation in our country. You guys also loved our land so much you took a mess load of it. You even happen to love our language you just don't know it. There are thousands of words in English that are actually Spanish or of Native descent. Mariachi's or Patron anyone?
