Symmonds barred from London DL?

Hightower needs to be run out of the USATF. She is a disgrace to the sport.

She is a petty little woman on a power trip.

This meet has always been BS. Look at the women's 15 and the men's 5k he has issues with letting more than a few Africans in the races and both look like watered down events. How does an athlete that doesn't break the rules become labeled a liability while scheduling asafa who pulls out of meets on a weekly basis is not.

If USATF and connections with Hightower have anything to do with this she should be immediately suspended or fired. Limiting american's opportunities is not what the US governing body should be about. If anything a US athlete should get the inside track to a start at this meet due to her connects.

This is yet another example of why we don't want Stephanie H. in the position she's in. Looking at "What's wrong with the USATF" facebook page, there is someone who claims he wants to take on Stephanie. Take a look at his bid for USATF presidency page. I don't know this guy from Adam, but if he is a legitimate alternative, the USATF voting members should get behind a single candidate.

He was barred from London for having short legs and running in the style of a fat person.

What inappropriate things did Nick say to Hightower? Getting into a confrontation with the RD's wife is not grounds for a ban. That is petty vengeance. If Nick broke rules then they would be announced.

Ian is being called a clown because he is acting like a clown. If it walks like and duck and looks like a duck, chances are, it is a duck.

It is very true that Ian Stewart is a small-minded man who can't see past his own petty biases. Plus, he has no understanding of sports marketing. Nick, and his associated "liabilities" have made him known to the athletics community. Interest in him brings more attention to the event. If it is true that an American athletics official is also behind this blockade, that official is violating their duty to serve the best interests of US athletes.

Ian Stewart's wife, Stephanie Hightower the USATF president, is using the meet to block and punish US athletes whom she does not like. This is a clear violation of her assigned role as USATF president and will likely be her undoing.

I think he's a huge douche-bag too, but I still don't think that's any reason to ban someone from a reason.

The president of USATF is purposely using her husband to sabotage a US athletes Olympic preparation. Nick might have a legal case here against USATF. Her duty is to assist Olympic athletes in their preparation for the Olympic, not sabotage them.

When are the baby boomers going to realize that the media and networking have changed?

Arent there set criteria for DL meet entry? If not, isnt it basically rigged for or against some people?

According to Lolo Jones's Twitter, she was told the same thing about being a liability. She said "no crime committed but serving a sentence anyway."
