But seriously, Webb ran 8:45 (with little help) and 1:47 in HS, and had a race that was perfectly set up for him to run 3:53. Cheserek will need to be fitter than Webb was since he'll have way less help, and he hasn't shown that kind of strength and speed. No way does he break Webb's mark.

What do you mean Cheserek has worse strength than webb did? Cheserek's 2 mile is faster than webb's was. But, it is clear that Cheserek has no where near the same speed webb had.

It is also clear that Ches is far older than the nominal age at which his unethical coaches register him, so whatever he runs is meaningless.
The history of recruiting African professional distance runners to compete in the US amateur college, and now, unbelievably high school, running events is an ethical morass, and a slap in the face of every real American distance runner whoever wanted to run on an even playing field.
The age of these imported pros is indeterminate. End of story. Google Salomon Haile to see another import whose age records are in tatters are his achievements in light thereof.
What has not changed is all of the legitimate American runners who have been aggrieved by these impostors an their ethically-challenged US coaches.
By copy of this post, I am seeking NCAA review of the legitimacy of allowing this chimera to continue.

A 2:21.00 is equal to about a 4:03 mile. So lets say he is able to run a 4:03 mile time trial, in a competitive atmosphere I think 3:57-8 is possible.

Verzbicas went 3:59.7x...so you have to think Ches will run at least as fast at 1mile.
BTW, Ches could run under 50sec for 400 carrying a sack of potatos. He easily has 48high speed out of the blocks.
Really. It is clear? You have some evidence that other are unaware of? Do share. Or are you such an expert because some of your best friends are Kenyan?

I wouldn't say that race was perfectly set up for Webb. Yes, it was a fast group of runners and a fast race...however he was on his own for a lot of it and had to show the guts to match the pace and run a massive PR.
2:21 equates to 57 second 400 pace.... Einstein !!!

I know. Bolt's run 9.59 and he's never gone sub-4. Sub-4 is impossible for a kid who has only run 4:02!
Remember when Robby Creese ran 2:19 for the 1000 indoors... still only went 3:58 or so for the mile (indoor)
Ches to go sub four by maybe two seconds at the most.
