Among the other East Regional results today, how about David Verburg leading quarterfinal qualifiers in the 400m at 45.08?! He had a 46.2 pr last year and he is a sophomore. That's a huge drop. He's just 5'6" and goes to George Mason.
And 6 guys in the 800m quarterfinal ran sub 1:48, including Beach at 1:47.75! (Aaron Evans led at 1:47.31).
Maurice Mitchell ran 20.22 in the 200m to lead prelim qualifiers.
