You're too weak. Put on some muscle in your legs. It will take some adjusting but you'll get hurt less because you'll have control.

I know I'm a skinny MFer, I don't even try and I don't know if it helps me that much. Sometimes I think I should bulk up and run the 400 cuz I run 49.6 with skin and bones. People usually see me at the starting line and think I'm a 10k guy in the wrong event, but sometimes I like standing out.

I may not have been clear: I'm *permanently* injured: got hurt as a senior, and this is my 40th subsequent year of being unable to run.
