Windy conditions. Same night Sally Pearson was running into a -2.3 headwind. Gregson tore up the last 50m to produce a gap. Should be noted that this was one race. 'Olympic Trial Meet' here in Australia means nothing. Selection panel is all over the place, stupid rules and regulations.

The big challenge with gregson will be staying injury-free. Seems the past year or so something is always troubling him.

Also for those who are interested: Collis Birmingham is the one to watch in the 5000m. He ran 3.35.74 just the other week.

Kenyans don't run will in adverse conditions. Yeah. Like that lame Kip Keino, in Mexico City with a bad stomach problem, he really crapped out.

As for Centro, he is going to win the trials. There are some good milers in the US, but this kid is going to be fit and ready.

I would be shocked to see gregson make the Olympic final. He seems to be the Australian Webb. Wish he would go back to the original training stable that thrust him into the limelight.

Are you freaking kidding me? This guy is more like the Australian Centro - a winner. True he has had some health issues but this guy is a winner and definitely one to watch for in the OG.

The Kiwi, Willis just ran a career best a month of so ago at 3.30 for 1500 and will smash Gregson and quite possibly podium with the Kenyans in London
