I got a pair out of curiosity... Seems like on the treadmill they're a nice springy shoe and pretty cool to run in.... Feel like a pleasant change from my usual saucony rides and Asics 1170s.... On the roads.... Not sure what think. Maybe on asphalt , but the 4 mile loop I use near my house requires one sidewalks due to busy roads for most of it.... Nice for a change though.
please help me i am confused
So... I got a pair of these a while back after reading some folks say they liked 'em...just wanted to report (I'm a 35 yr old gal) that I just ran my fastest 5K since 2008 in these things a couple days ago. I don't like them easy runs, but for speed work, I've found myself gravitating to them the last couple months... figured I had nothing to lose so tried them this Sunday and I was happy with the results. I'm very prone to heel bursitis - and these things do seem to keep me a bit more focused on form when I'm running all out and inclined to let it fall apart.
All this to say, any of ya'll who were planning to try the GoRides have any feedback now? I'm wondering if I should ditch my Asics for 'em? (Dreading the move to the 1000s... stocked up on 1170s while they were still around)

Love my skechers....4 pairs in rotation. It's funny, first pair I tried in a Skechers outlet and hated the drop heel/arch bump feel...tried some on again when they made their way (at $30 less) to TJ Maxx/Marshalls....and LOVED them - didn't notice the bump at all. Love, love, love. Though they may wear quicker than heavier shoes.....
Amazon has one color for 27 bucks. I bought a pair for 32.
Not bad for that price!! Haven't worn them yet, though. Looking forward to it.
