No, I was referring to a personal situations. Again, the vast majority of Americans are Christian, and the vast majority of those who are not still don't take offense, as it's become so secularized and merely a way of spreading good cheer as we've done since the formation of our country. But for maybe two, the President takes his oath with his hand on the bible, which at least symbolizes endorsement, even as we are free to practice any religion in this country.
Business owner, you may be correct, but I actually am grateful to people who wish me a Merry Christmas, frequently tell them so, and have walked out of places that substitute a politically correct phrase. But that's just me. It's really not the big deal that the maybe 5% want to make it out to be. And yes, there's nothing more ridiculous than a "holiday" tree. We don't call a menorah a "Holiday candle holder." Why would we?
