Edward should win but stranger things have happened. Anyone know what the weather conditions are supposed to be which could be a factor should Cheserek decided to go for the course record.

What are the odds that Cheserek DOES NOT beat the current course record?
I'm calling it like it was in 2003. The two favorites go out hard and battle each other and a random guy who will never be heard of again wins it.
I'm rooting for blake too.
What is the record split at 1 mile? I'm thinking that that one goes for sure.
Matt Withrow wasn't exactly some random guy. He was the Midwest champ.
cheserek should win easily in a course record and go on to rewrite the 2M record this year.
I remember hearing that Matt Giusto went out in like 4:18 or 20 for the first mile when he won back in 1983. Might be tough to go out faster than that.
I honestly think that Edward Cheserek will go out MUCH closer to 4:10 flat then 4:18-4:20. Even so if Futsum goes out sub 4:20 then Cheserek will have enough to hold him off and go for the win. Edward will have to have the worst race of his young high school career to lose the Footlocker Championship!
I think that Edward is gonna win in one of two ways...
1) Edward runs away with it from the beginning, and Futsum (trying to run a smarter race) holds back. Futsum closes on Edward in the last mile but Edwards victory is still decisive.
2) Edward pushes it and Futsum tries to stay with him, Futsum starts to be gapped in the first part of the second lap, and edward pulls away, Edward wins.
EIther way Edward wine, its up to Furtsum how he goes about it.

Do you even realize how horribly offensive this is? One of my co-workers is Eritrean and she lost a brother and sister during the revolution, and I'm pretty damn sure that she doesn't self-identify as Ethiopian.
Pull your head out of your ass, you insensitive dipsh*t!
How fast does your co-worker run a 5k?
All I'm gonna say is that they call it "Futlocker" for a reason.
