I think she has improved substantially and that will be shown in track this year. Also, physically she has matured and is much taller and more developed More developed than what? she looks like she is 7

Macedo did not finish. She was fifth at the first split but something must have happened as she slowed considerably to the next split and then dropped out.
Mary Cain has improved like 2 minutes this season. She's gained so much strength and is going to be dangerous this track season. Her coach has gone on record saying he thinks she'll break 2 in the 800. A HSR in the 1500 is also a strong possibility. And only a sophomore?!
If anyone is going to challenge Baxter her senior year, it'll be Cain. She's improving tons as she gains strength and she's not too far off right now...

With 55 400meter speed and a 6th a NXN, the skys the limit for her from 800 to 3200! Awesome talent and awesome kid!

Some of the Flotrack & Runnerspace videos are always this way, some of them horribly slow.
I'm happy to see Sarah Baxter running so well. That was an amazing race that she ran, very well pace and I like very much how she kept pushing all the way to the finish, my favorite kind of running! It was an excellent girl's race all the way.
Too bad they won't be running at Footlocker Nationals! It would be good to see the top runners from NX being able to run at FL Nationals, as I think was done for a couple of years.
This is how Ritz raced in H.S.; I don't recall him ever being in a foot race to the finish line. Perhaps Ritz or Sarah don't have a kick, but it does not matter if you keep your competition in the red zone the whole 2nd half of a race. About 3/4th into a race, H.S. athletes typically start to gather themselves for a kick at the end, but once Ritz would the put paddle down, he never eased up. When you start to gather yourself, Ritz slowly pulled away.
Btw, Sarah handily beat some really good girls, I was surprised that some of the girls who had been so dominate through out the year could not mount a challenge.

I'm not that impressed, the times at Pre-Nats were just as good from girls not nearly as high profile. Slow race.
