He needs to find a good nutritionist rather than a good coach.

Matt Jr will be back in nearby Arnold, MD to train with pops Centro Sr and his hot Stanford degreed sister. Webb can train with Matt Jr.
Nah...he's going back to Warhurst.
What about Steve Scott.

Or a good psychologist. The problems are all in his head.
Well, all other options failed. With Razcko he did have amazing success.
Question:
What is webb's fastest 1500/mile since his 2007 American mile record?

I think it would be his 3:36 last year, then he ran good in the 5th ave mile with a 3:53, then beat Rupp in the Turkey Trot. I thought he was showing some promise for the 2011 season but then left Salzar and dissapeared.
Although he never won anything other than US championships with Razcko, it's better than nothing with all the other coaches he has tried.
He seems happy with Razcko, and when you are happy and stress free, you perform better.
What is webb's fastest 1500/mile since his 2007 American mile record?
A cursory search produced this:
2007 ___ 3:30.54 / 3:46.91
2008 ___ 3:35.86 / 3:55.47
2009 ___ 3:41.62i / 3:55.99
2010 ___ 3:36.21 / ???
2011 ___ 3:37.82 / 3:58.77
Webb will not get back to 07 form.
He has not bettered his best high school time going on 5 years.
Once you lose it, it's hard to recapture.
His body has changed. Psychologically he's changed.
Once in a generation talent, too bad.
Webb needs to move up to the 5k. He could go sub-13....
Has anybody confirmed this? All I've seen is speculation. This seems like a troll attempt...

hmph, i had no idea that he's actually run every year. seems like he's missed a couple of years, but nope. On top of that, he's gone sub4 every year. Not as bad as he seems.
Sub 4? Are you kidding me? That means nothing. Everybody's brother can run sub 4 these days. When you've run 3:46, sub 4 is almost irrelevant.
I don't think it's a troll attempt. It would make complete sense. I bet the official news will come out soon and yet again another rumor will turn out to be true on the site.

But the OP's name is "It's official", so it must be already official.
Go to NJ and train with Gags

according to posters on tracktalk, Ray flynn indicated that Webb would still be coached by Vig despite leaving UVA. It was quoted from an article in track and field news, but as fate would have it, the link is apprently broken atm. this was about 2 days ago though so things might have changed in that time.
This makes me beg the question though, but what would people think of Webb going back to Razcko? I just made a thread asking about this same question so it seems redundant here but what are people's serious opinions on the matter?
Heres the link.....
http://trackandfieldnews.com/index.php/display-article?arId=65448"Vigilante Will Likely Continue To Coach Alan Webb
From Walt Murphy's News and Results Service:
With yesterday's announcement that Jason Vigilante had resigned as the head coach at the University of Virginia, some wondered what effect that would have on Alan Webb, who moved from Portland, Oregon, to Charlottesville to be coached by "Vig". But Ray Flynn, Webb's manager, indicated via email that Vigilante will most likely still coach the American Record holder in the mile, who is trying to get back to top form as the Olympic year approaches. Added Flynn, "Alan is finally healthy and feeling good".

What's more impressive: his ability to run the times he has and never make an impact on the international scene? or his ability to never make an impact on the international scene and still garner as much attention as he gets?
Webb has actual accomplishments, national titles and American records, along with Euro victories. So, let's skip that comparison.
Has there ever been a middle distance talent anywhere who has won national titles, National Records, with multiple impressive Euro victories, AND yet been such an up and down, inconsistent and enigmatic athlete?
SERIOUSLY. Alan is one of a kind. Thats for sure.
How horrible. Webb only ran 3:46, 1:43, 8:11, 27:37, won multiple nat'l championships & finished world's top 10 under Razcko.
