Check that. Winehouse had three empty liters of vodka found in the house. I drink a liter of Jim Beam once in about 4 hours. I was sick for three days.

Very true. I have friends who do NOT know how to stop drinking once they start.

I get really nasty hangovers and get buzzed pretty easily so after two or three mixed drinks, no matter how I feel, in the back of my head I hear a voice telling me 'drink water or you're gonna feel like sh*t tmrw.' Either that, or I just stop altogether.

i drank a quarter of a handle and 1.5 cans of 4 loco in a little over 2 hours. i threw up an insain amount from about 10PM until 4AM, and all i could say to the person helping me was: no 911.

How drunk could one get off of regular strength (5% ABV) beer? Seems like you'd have to guzzle hard alcohol to get into the 0.25-0.50 kind of range. Is that correct?

no, becaues you could drink alot of beer and get just as drunk. 1 beer=1.5oz shot

Blew a .25 after drinking what I thought was vodka from a watermelon - turned out to be Everclear - and then wandering around the party drinking strawberry liqour. I alternated between throwing up and trying to clean up my vomit for several hours. Not fun

Wow, you need to do some googling. It has been shown scientifically that some Asians and also Native Americans (who are of Asiatic stock) have issues metabolizing alcohol that, at least in the latter, often translates to high addiction rates.

once drank 13 double shots...legit double shots in a span of 30 minutes....Don't remember anything at all obviously about died. great time............

sad thing is I weigh 140lbs and can put down around 20 shots of vodka no problem...so i'd venture to say my B.A.C. has been pretty damn high

once drank about 16 bud heavies in about 4 hours and a couple other drinks. Blew roughly .28-.3. Didn't puke, but did get arrested for public drunkeness. oops.

A little alcohol is good but if you're a weirdo don't drink too much, that's when the strangeness will really start to show.

I've never been breathalysed but I've had nights we're I've had at least 30 standard drinks in probably 8 hours without throwing up. I have no idea where that would land me at between 170-190. Unsurprisingly my weight went up when I was drinking a ton. Thankfully I've been able to cut back a LOT in the last 1-1.5 years and it never got really bad.

I don't know how much I drank, but I hit a parked car in the parking lot where I lived, backed the truck up, drove it 100 feet and parked it dead-nuts even between the lines. I went into my apartment, crashed on the couch, and was awakened approximately 45 minutes later by a police officer, flanked by both roommates. I stood up and immediately, without prompt, put my hands behind my back.

When I blew at the police station, it was .206 and I hadn't had a drink in three hours. I blew a .17 another time after drinking at the river and a party for about 10 straight hours (beer only). Oddly, I felt completely normal at .17.

Heavy Drinkers longer than non-drinkers. Alcohol is generally good for you unless you are way excessive and stupid about it.

You better scale back or drink at home. And make sure you have enough beer stocked up so you don't have to make a run after 8 beers.

This started because no one can understand how Amy Winehouse hit a .40 Any body can do that if they drink enough for a long enough time. She was young.

When I was in my 20's I didn't believe that it was possible for Dennis Hopper to drink a gallon of vodka and a case of beer a day like he claimed.

I guess holding normal regular jobs and getting to work on time prevents that happening for the majority.
