Robinson made a big move to pass him and gap him with 200 to go and Torrence following Robinson.

Torrence struggled to keep up with Robinson and Centro came back to close well on the homestretch, coming close to Torrence.

Robinson wins easily. Looks like he has learned to measure this race better.

Nice race by Centro. Didn't have the confidence or pop to go with them at 200 to go.

But strong finish and placed well for a 1500m runner.

Centro had almost even splits: 53.6/54.1; so too slow for the first half compared to standard 800 patterns (slowing a second per 200 (25/26(51)/27/28(55)1:46). Closed well, but not in KD's league for an 800 (duh).

No. 1, as a collegiate he's not going anywhere for free, Duck or Cavalier. Mom and Dad still have to pay for it to keep his eligibility. In fact, it'd be cheaper for Andrews to do it, flying from the east coast. No. 2, if Andrews was U.S. champ and running in the world championships, you damn well better believe he's going to Europe and running.
