    I ran my first two Twin City marathons in 2:36+ (many years ago), and I was never lonely. I think that was around 80th place or so. The crowd is OK, but the course is very nice and surprisingly fast. I am originally from Minnesota, though, so it was a nice combination of family visit and marathon.
