in today's world, you cannot blame wejo or rojo for reporting news thought to be correct.

Umm. why is it reputable news organizations never report unsubstantiated claims. and when they do something so reckless, there are grave consequences (beyond erosion of credibility).
If tomorrow morning you logged onto letsrun.com and a generic page popped up saying "if you wish to continue viewing letsrun.com or participating in the forum discussions you will be required to pay $1 through paypal at this time, and register with your first/last name along with cell phone number for verification code." how many of you oblige?
I'm sure most visitors would gladly obey because letsrun is THE source for the running community. All other online media outlets suck.

What is a "reputable news organization"?
#1 - How about Louie Quintana and redirecting towards the steeplechase events. Louie hasn't been able to recruit and develop a ton of own guys, but has taken on transfers very well (Bethke, Alcorn, etc). Webb would certainly be the man!
#2 - What is John Mcdonnell doing nowadays? I bet he would love just one stud!
#3 - Ed Eyestone, BYU seems to always have steeplechasers (and no nonsense about them just being older). Hislop disciplies have gotten it done here in the steeple on the womens side as well.
#4 - Gary at Ohio State, but Huling is the man (which I agree Webb does now need or want) and the weather is terrible
#5 - George Watts down at UT. Worked with Fam and JJ Clarke can't hurt for the speedwork!
