While Chris Webb wasn't on his brother's level, he was still pretty fast by most peoples' standards. This reinforces the primacy of genetics in my mind - that he is much slower than his sibling, but still much faster than the average man proves that it runs in the family.

My younger brother is a sprinter... 11.0 and 22.3 as a junior in high school. I ran faster times respectively in the 1600 3200, and I run the 5k mostly in college now. If only I had some of his speed maybe I wouldn't get burned every bell lap.

Because from an early age they hear about running and like most young kids will want to be like their parents so they have a huge leg up on other kids in terms of a start in the sport.

Chris is definitely up there in awesomeness. He is the most laid back chill dude who knows how to have a good time. Yes he's not as fast as Alan, but who is? Chris was a dec high school runner - could have been good mix for d3, who takes on a more laze-fare type of lifestyle. Definitely great at beer pong!! Plus he's training for his first marathon = If you're reading this -- Chris you're bad ass !!

Alan Webb has an older brother and an older sister in addition to the younger brother. He has two nieces who I have heard can run around the playground in under 2:00 while feeling easy and relaxed.
